Life is full of seasons - some joyful, some challenging, and some that are a mix of both. As we navigate these seasons, it's important to reflect on our experiences and use them to grow, both personally and in how we support others. Here's an update on my recent journey and how it's shaping my approach to helping those dealing with baby loss.

A Season of Change

The past few months have been a whirlwind of emotions and experiences:

  1. My son's wedding: Watching my baby boy get married was a beautiful yet emotionally complex experience. It brought up feelings of joy, nostalgia, and a bit of grief for his childhood.

  2. Professional development: I completed an intensive course in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Timeline Therapy, and hypnosis. These new skills are already proving invaluable in my work with clients.

  3. Returning to beauty industry consulting: I've taken on a new role that allows me to balance my passion for helping those dealing with baby loss and supporting businesses in the beauty industry.

Lessons Learned

Through these experiences, I've learned some important lessons:

  1. It's okay to feel multiple emotions at once: Joy and sadness can coexist, and that's perfectly normal.

  2. Give yourself space: When life gets busy or emotionally draining, it's okay to step back and allow yourself room to process.

  3. Growth often comes from challenging times: These experiences have sparked new ideas and approaches for supporting others.

New Offerings to Support You

As we approach the holiday season, which can be particularly challenging for those who have experienced loss, I'm excited to offer some new resources:

  1. Timeline Therapy sessions: A powerful tool for addressing negative emotions like guilt, sadness, and anger.

  2. Handling the Holidays series: Free resources to help you navigate the holiday season, including weekly office hours starting mid-November.

  3. Custom meditations: Tailored to your specific needs and experiences.

Looking Ahead

As I approach the 24th anniversary of my own loss, I'm reminded of how far I've come and how much I still want to do to support others on their journey. My experiences have reinforced my commitment to creating the kind of support I wish I had had during my early days of loss.

I want to hear from you! What challenges are you facing? What kind of support would be most helpful to you? Please reach out through social media, email, or the chat box on my website. Your input will help shape the resources and support I offer going forward.

Remember, it's okay to give yourself grace during difficult seasons. By allowing ourselves space to process and grow, we become better equipped to support ourselves and others.
